2009 Summer/Fall Show Schedule

New Beginnings. June 18 – July 2; Reception June 18, 5-8 PM.
Group show featuring all Galleries West artists.  Art has the power to be reflective, to comfort, and to inspire; qualities much needed in the current state of our world.  In that spirit, artists have been asked to create works based on the concept, New Beginnings. 

All Things Wild. July 3 – 15; Reception July 3, 5-8 PM.
From spirited colorful brushwork to minute detail, this show presents an exciting array of contemporary wildlife art from five Galleries West artists: Michael Calles, D. Lee, Lori McNee, John Potter, & Debbie Edgers Sturges.

Jennifer L. Hoffman-New Work.  July 16 – August 5; Reception July 16, 5-8 PM.
Jackson Hole painter Jennifer L. Hoffman is known for her sensitive interpretations of the landscape in pastel, oil, and graphite.  Her latest efforts will be on display in this solo exhibition.

E.C. O’Connor-New Work.  August 6 – 19; Reception August 6, 5-8 PM.
This solo exhibition of works by Jackson Hole painter Erin C. O’Connor will showcase paintings from her April 2009 artist-in-residency at Joshua Tree National Park. 

Body & Soul II. August 20 – September 2; Reception August 20, 5-8 PM.
Life drawings and paintings created by members of the Jackson Hole life drawing group founded by Greg McHuron.  Including works from Galleries West artists Jennifer L. Hoffman and E. C. O’Connor as well as many others.

7th Annual Fall Round-Up.  September 3 – 24; Reception September 16, 5-8 PM.  This annual Fall Arts Festival group show features new works by the entire roster of Galleries West artists.  Artists’ reception takes place during the Wednesday night ARTwalk.

Galleries West Open House. Saturday, September 19.  Visit the gallery any time throughout the day for hors d’oeuvres and beverages.  Many Fall Round-Up artists will be on hand during the day.
